About The Group
The Nutmeg Treasure Hunters is a group of Metal Detecting enthusiasts started in 1984. The group meets monthly at the HUBCAP 128 Center Street in Wallingford , CT. Fellow members share their treasure finds and discuss tips and tricks of the trade. Meetings start at 7:30 p.m. and refreshments are served. Come join the fun!
A Little "Bit" About Joining Our Group
- Our members have experience with many different models of detectors.
- From time to time we invite guest speakers to present various topics.
- Attendance membership drawing, coffee and donuts and a 50/50 raffle.
- Finds of the month contest with silver prizes (Members vote on the best picks).
- Several Seeded Hunts.
- Annual Summer Picnic with raffle prizes, and awards for the "FINDS OF THE YEAR".
- Annual Pizza Party and Night Hunts.
- Annual Christmas Party.
